The Mission of Motherhood: The Heart Behind the Podcast

The Mission of Motherhood: The Heart Behind the Podcast

Mar 29, 2024

The mission of Motherhood is the most important mission you will have. That is the heart of this podcast. The reason I help women find meaningful work from home is so they can focus on their faith and family.

This means bringing or keeping their children home.

The Public School Agenda

School Shootings

Gender neutral bathrooms

Explicit Sex Education

Homosexual agenda

Climate alarmism

Evolution

Godlessness

This is what is going on in the public schools, from large public schools to small rural schools, children are being indoctrinated with unbiblical ideas.

We can bury our heads in the sand and think, oh it’s not that bad where I live. However, I am here to tell you. Yes, it is. It is probably worse. The progressive agenda is not slowing down. Even after the current was pulled back during COVID, and parents saw via Zoom what was being taught in the classroom.

If you do not believe me, I want to share some other podcasts you can learn more about what is going on both in the culture and the public schools. Crosstalk is a Christian Talk show that discusses topics that you won’t hear from the mainstream media.

The Bible Way

This is why I do what I do because I want you to be able to keep your children at home and educate them according to your beliefs and what the Bible says.

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

In Deuteronomy 6:6-7 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

The reason that I encourage you to find work from home is number one to be able to keep your children at home with you. So you do not need to send them to the public school where they will be taught everything BUT the ways of the Lord.

Please hear my heart, if you have to work outside your home and you have to send your children to public school, I am not judging you. I want to show there is a roadmap to get home. To get home and educate your children. . . the Bible way. That may mean sending them to a Christian School, but most likely it will mean homeschooling them.

That is why I do what I do. I feel so strongly that Christians should not put their children in public schools. I want you to be able to work from home so they can be home.

How do you do it all?

How do you work full-time, or even part-time, and homeschool your children? It’s not going to be easy. It’s not going to be balanced all the time, but God will make a way. I have seen it over and over in Christian families. When you follow Him in obedience He will make a way.

Remember there is the wide way (public school) and there is the strait way (homeschool) remember the strait way is narrow, it’s difficult, and sometimes it seems impossible, but remember with God all things are possible, Matt 19:26

I know how hard it can be because I am doing it too. If you don’t feel like you're failing at working from home, then you feel like your house is in disarray, if you don’t feel like you are not educating your children properly, then you feel like you are not a good wife.

Stop, and take a deep breath. God sees you, mama.

I see you working hard, I see you doing all the things. Doing another sink load of dishes, folding 3 loads of laundry that have been sitting in the corner waiting to be folded, second-guessing how you are educating your children, trying to think of what’s to eat for the next meal, and then also knowing that you need to earn money to contribute to the family budget.

How? How will you get it all done? The truth is, you probably won’t. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and know that God is there to calm your heart, hold your hand, and guide your way. Lean on Him, pray to Him. The dishes will get done, . . . eventually, the laundry doesn’t really need to get folded, you can just shove it in the drawer, and your children are going to be better off having you home.

I am a Generation X child. I grew up with wonderful parents. My mom worked outside of the home. I went to public school. I was a latchkey kid of the ‘80-'90s. I got with the wrong crowd in middle school and I made a lot of back choices. Please understand, that I do not blame my mom. She did the best she could with what she knew. But I wonder if I could have avoided many choices if I had had her at home. I know that you are doing what you have to do. But the world is such a different place now. Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic are no longer taught. Instead, there is an agenda, a progressive, secular agenda. That’s the bad news. The good news is that homeschooling has exploded. It is possible. Worklife has changed too. There are more opportunities to make money from home.

You can do this and I want to help 3 mothers by offering them one month of free coaching and a 30-day free trial of the Unique Calling Mentorship. Please send me an email if you are interested. [email protected].
